Wash the lenses with hand soap and tepid/ warm water. Avoid abrasive cleaners and alcohol detergents that may ruin the lenses and frames. Rinse the lenses and frame with lukewarm running water to remove dirt and grime. Avoid water that's too hot, as it can damage lens coatings.

Dry with a soft cloth. Use a clean, soft, absorbent cloth to dry your sunglasses. Do not use paper-based products.

Care for sunglasses by keeping them in a case. A lot of people keep their case in a draw at home. Put them in your car or where it will get the most use. Do not keep them near keys as they can scratch out the lenses.

Avoid putting sunglasses on car dashboards because of heat warping and don't rest sunglasses on the top of your head because they'll get bent out of shape in the long term and over time this habit stretches out the frames.
